3. Selling Price

A selling price is displayed inclusive of tax on each of the product details pages.

 

4. Shipping Fee

The Shop shall use, as a general principle, Yamato Transport for shipping. The shipping fees are stated as follows:
【Within Japan】
¥1500
Please note: for the artwork which is over the standard size of TA-Q-BIN of Yamato Transport, the difference between the shipping fee stated above and the actual shipping fee is included in the selling price of the artwork.
【Outside Japan】
The Shop shall use, as a general principle, EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post for shipping outside Japan. The shipping fees are stated as follows:

 Asia ¥4,800
 Oceania, North America, The Middle East, The Near and the Middle East ¥6,600
 Europe ¥7,400
 South America, Africa ¥11,800

Please note: for the product more than 600 grams, the difference between the shipping fee stated above and the actual shipping fee is included in the selling price of the product.

 

5. Necessary Fees other than the Price of Product

Necessary fees other than the price of the product are a shipping fee, consumption tax, and transaction fees (for the customer who wishes to use a bank transfer as a payment method).
Please note: in case that customs duties, import taxes, and customs charges are charged for the shipping outside Japan, the customer is liable for those charges.

 

6. Payment Method

A payment of the total amount of purchase is required.
The payment methods available are:
For customers requiring shipping within Japan: Credit card payment*, bank transfer**, Paypal
For customers requiring shipping outside Japan: Credit card payment*, Paypal
*VISA, MASTER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS are accepted for the credit card payment.
**For the customer using a bank transfer requires a prepayment. The customer is liable for the transaction fees relating to the bank transfer.

 

7. Payment Due Date

Credit card payments: The settlement is at the time of the purchase. Please refer to your credit card contract for the withdrawal date.
Bank transfers (prepayment): The customer is required to transfer the payment to the designated bank account within 7 days of the order. The customer is liable for the transaction fees relating to the bank transfer.
Paypal: The settlement is at the time of the purchase. Please refer to your credit card contract for the withdrawal date.
Please note: For the bank transfer, the order will be cancelled if the payment is not confirmed within 7 days. For the customers ordering outside Japan, only Paypal is available for the payment method.

9. Shipping Schedule

Credit card payments: The shipment is usually within five days after the approval of the settlement (weekends and public holidays are excluded).
Bank transfers: The shipment is usually within five days after the confirmation of the payment (weekends and public holidays are excluded).
Paypal: The shipment is usually within five days after the approval of the settlement (weekends and public holidays are excluded).

 

10. Withdrawal or Cancellation of the Proposal for a Sale and Purchase Agreement 

The Shop shall not refund due to the withdrawal or cancellation of the proposal to enter into the sale and purchase agreement.

 

11. Returns

The Shop shall accept returns or exchanges of a product if the product is faulty or different from the one ordered. Please contact kihokupentas@gmail.com with photo(s) of the product attached within seven days of the receipt of the product. If a replacement is not available, the Shop will refund for the product. The Shop will be liable for the shipping fee for the exchange.
The Shop shall not accept a request for exchanges or returns of a product in the following circumstances:
⑴ Seven days have passed from the receipt of the product by the customer;
⑵ The delivery notice, certificate, accessory, box or any other associated item is missing;
⑶ The product is not in the original condition due to a damage or defacement caused by the customer;
⑷ The product is returned without any notice;
⑸ The fault is determined insignificant as per the requirements for exchanges and returns set by the Shop.
Please note: Images of a product may look like having different colours from the actual product due to the nature of the display.
For any other circumstances not stated above, the Shop shall not accept exchanges and returns requested due to the customer’s circumstances.

 

12. Restriction of Sales Volume

Any products that have limited number of stock or are available for a limited time will be noted on the product page.

 

13. Long-term Absence, Refusal to Accept Delivery and Unknown Address

The Shop shall not accept a return in the event that the product is undeliverable due to a long-term absence of the recipient, a refusal to accept, an unknown address or an incorrect address was provided by the customer upon the user registration. The address provided is incorrect because of the reasons, including, however not limited to: the address was mistyped by the customer, the customer provided an address prior to relocation, or the customer did not update the registered user information after relocation. Please check a retention period with your shipping company for undeliverable packages and make sure that you receive the product within the retention period. In the event that the product was not collected within the retention period and has been returned to the Shop, the product will be re-shipped. The customer will be liable for fees for the re-shipment.
In the event that the product was not received again after the above-mentioned re-shipment and it has been returned to the Shop because it was not collected from the shipping company within the retention period, the Shop will request payment from the customer for the fees listed below by sending a content-certified mail (for a customer outside Japan, a notice with receipt notification) to the customer.
・ The shipping fee for two round trips relating to the concerned product;
・ The packaging costs relating to the concerned product;
・ The handling fee for the shipment incurred by the Shop;
・ The fee to send a content-certified mail (the fee to send a notice with receipt notification for a customer outside Japan).
Please note: A flat fee for the charges cannot be set as the shipping fee varies depending on the product. The details of the charges relating to the undeliverable product due to a long-term absence of the recipient, a refusal to accept or an unknown address will be provided in a content-certified mail or a notice with receipt notification.
The Shop shall not accept any returns and exchanges requested due to customer’s circumstances. The Shop may consider taking legal action if the Shop determines the customer’s action is malicious.

 

14. Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Customs Charges (Shipping outside Japan)

The duties, taxes and charges, including, however not limited to: customs duties, import taxes, and customs charges may be charged in relation to the product purchased. The customer who receives the product is liable for those duties, taxes and charges. Please contact the recipient’s local customs office for the duties, taxes and charges as those may differ depending on the country where the recipient is located.
